Went on a dog walk today on the edge of Dartmoor. I haven't been here for a couple of months but the winter storms have visited recently. The direction the trees have fallen suggests it was a north wind which blew them down. All part of the natural cycle of course. Nature will start to reclaim them.

We love Garlieston but stay at the CS around the corner.

Garlieston. One of our favourite sites as well. Lovely walk along the foreshore and then through the woods of Galloway House. Some lovely specimen trees dotted about. and then back to the village via the Estate roads.

Those views from Arisaig really are amongst the best in the world !! I don't like beaches very much (the sand gets everywhere! ) but I can spend hours there just standing and looking, walk a few paces paces and look some more

Recognised that straight away! We considered buying the house on the corner (white with black window surrounds) about 8 years back!

Lovely area, suggest a trip to The Isle of Whithorn and dinner at The Steam Packet

@kaasbroodje those pictures from silversands arisaig are beautiful..
Im hoping to be up there with @Kingham again back end of may with the kayak.. it would be great if the sea was as in your pictures..
