Betera, Spain. Las Fallas Day 4.
Too risky for us to go into Valencia to see the burning of the Ninots , due to the size of the crowds so went to a tiny town on the outskirts. However, it was freezing and the burning would not start until 1.00am, so stayed for a couple of hours and returned. These are the Ninots that would be torched.

Will they ripen when we take them home in a few weeks ?

I really think, for the sake of the tomatoes alone that one of you should stay out there Ed, I'm not saying which one of course but being the considerate kinda guy that you are Ed I'm sure you will run her to the airport!:Eeek:

in Houston we’re expecting a high of 27, this was 08.00 this morning.

That's nothing David, this was 8.00 this morning down here in the New Forest........

We saw the storms had made a right mess of the paving around the headland, sea had thrown bolders and paving into the wooden fencing splintering it badly

Hope you have a nice journey home

Andy
Hi Andy been a strange one this year as you know bit of a gust blowing now but the daytime temperatures are a bit hot for Charlie so hopefully we'll be at Cadiz next Monday.
Hope you had a great time at Corralejo.

We've had a lovely few weeks over the water. Mr & Mrs @rb62 had lovely weather with us.

Aye. That's who we use. And now I have residencia, it's half price this year :)[/QUOTE]
We believe you can also get 3 month reduced travel if you own a property but don't want residencia?
Guess who forgot to bring their deeds over
