My memories have just been shattered . Looking for the video , people are saying it's a hoax:(.
Not going to buy a camera that lies , always been told the camera doesn't lie:D
Couldn't sleep last night , now thinking there might not be a Santa , or fairies at the bottom of my garden. My whole life I've been lied to:).

Months ago I was considering a GoPro but haven't got one yet. I found a channel somewhere that had a clip of a couple on what looked like castle ramparts. They had put the Gopro on the wall to film themselves , a seagull picks up the camera and fllies away . The footage was really clear , it eventuall y dropped the camera and the couple got it back.
Never trust big birds , either feathered or human:giggle:.

The basic GoPro (Hero) was £95 about 3 years ago. It's been superseded by one that costs twice as much. If you can get the one for £95 still it's money well spent.
Amazing 1080p footage.

Here's one I made earlier...

Great pictures as usual Tam, envious of the weather you are enjoying, its stopped raining here in Surrey, lets hope the skys run out of water for a while.

Great footage Humberto, better than any album still shots for memories. it leads me to whole list of questions, but the main one is always....what video editing software are you using, and is it easy to get started with.?

Thanks
Les

The GoPro comes with its own Video editor and it's very intuitive, with options to create a quick movie using defaults. I spent quite a while on the original film (that wasn't the original) editing in time to a piece of music I had in mind. The problem is that Youtube detects copyright music and it won't play on some media.

Here's the original piece that I spent several hours editing using GoPro software. It's a 1,000 mile ride I did in 2015 in a week or so. It was a tough ride with extreme highs and extreme lows. It may play, it may not.

For my other stuff I use Adobe Premier Elements 12 which isn't quite as intuitive but lets you get more "cinematic" results..

Windows Movie Maker is good enough for most "family video" stuff and is free on many versions of Windows. I think they all tend to have a ""Quick Movie" option. Start with this if you have it.

Thanks @Go Humberto! for the heads up on The Go Pro Software. That looked like a massive meet you went on, 1000 miles in a week not easy, you must be as fit as the proverbial Butchers Dog!, Good luck to you, hope we meet some day soon.

FYI. We (finally) found a table top (at Discounted Marine, on Ebay £269) to replace the "Surfboard" in our 2008 B544.

The "Surfboard" is ideal if you want to make use of the B544's ability to seat about 8-10 people around the table............but it's just two of us 99% of the time.

Discounted Marine sell various sizes of (teak) table tops to the sailing crowd but this one is an amazing fit for the sliding rails (826mm x 665mm).
665mm is deep enough so we can sit and eat facing each other whilst 826mm just covers the width of the rails and allows a useful space at each end, for getting changed and getting out of the way. Something which was always impossible with the original table top.

It looks stunning in my opinion. Hopefully the photos below show the difference in size between old and new.

It depends what you want. Mine has no playback screen so your videos need uploading to a PC to view. It's very basic but, when I compare it to other action cams, the footage is really well exposed, sharp and seems to reflect how it felt at the time. I cycle a lot and the videos look like how it felt out on the bike, not too wide, not too zoomed. It's all a matter of preference of course but it does what I want.

NOTE - Not such a great dash-cam though, it will stop recording when the card is full. A regular dash-cam will keep looping until something stops it.

Also my favourite Eagles track

'You call someplace paradise, kiss it goodbye'

Daughter, who is now 40 something, developed a love of the Eagles, she went to see them in Manchester 2014

Edit:......sorry not a lot to do with photo's:)

Will have a good look tonight . I have an Aukey dashcam from Amazon which is very clear , cheaper but decent. I do a bit of hillwalking , and something to take ten mins of video at the top would be good , if only to prove to the doubters I climbed the damn thing:).
Thanks again'

View attachment 223252 My supply of HP sauce has arrived so I’m all set for my bacon butties in the south of France this summer.
That’s cool BUT as we all know, red sauce for bacon, brown for sausage...

Happened on a nice picnic spot for lunch whilst driving to Lapujolle from Capbreton over looking a lake.
Ending up at a rural campsite (La Solanilla) only 2 pitches available for tonight due to water logging but it's only for the 1 night.

Hi John
It’s a Panasonic Lumix Bridge camera with a 24x zoom, we were very near RAF Valley in a CL so we were able to get some decent photos

Looks longer zoom on the in flight shots . My wife has the Lumix , throw it in your handbag camers , takes good shots. I have an old Canon 400d , but we use the Lumix much more.:(.
Must try zooming the Lumix , very pleased with yours.

I bough it for the other half and she loves it, she’s taken some great photos with it and it has enough features without being too technical, even I can use it :D2
