A photo of the day thread

Photo of the sky from our van just outside St Tropez about 6pm tonight.

@lorger, hey Gerry, is that the aire just off Chemin de la Moutte ? It was one of the first aires we ever used in France, there was an old boy living in a caravan there who took your money and wrote everything down in a battered old notebook.

Two photos we took yesterday at Caerphilly Castle. It's the largest Castle in Wales and the second largest in U.K.

The "leaning tower" started to lean in the 17th Century and is still standing.

Dim your screens down and put your sun glasses on!!

Lovely day in Cornwall, just right for a wash down and a winter wax!

Edit

No, that turdy shaped thing in the top photo is NOT a Cornish slug, but the sponge wax applicator on its side!:D

Cornish slugs are usually three times bigger!

So nice to see people out and about, our storage facility had vans parked up for months on end, such a waste

At last the weather has cooled down a little I can start pottering around my estate and get on with my exercise routines... (y)

Start a new tree stump digging exercise the other day.

It will be my biggest tree trunk extraction so far.

and there is the track repairing project and the tree pruning project and the well digging deeper project and... and... and...

By the time I get south for Christmas I will have lost so much weight that there will be plenty of room for sausages, burgers and pies.

I'm sure if you moved that chair further away from your tree stump it would give you a lot more exercise....;):)

Scared of Anchors , that's a new one on me... off to Google to see if it's a 'thing' or if you're just "unique" :)...

Probably just me, no idea why either but always have been. I'm just weird:getmecoat:.

Anyone who's not been to the lake District I recommend it, especially the Keswick c&cc. It's helped that I've been with a great bunch who know the area like the back of their hands:)
