A photo of the day thread

Had three nights on this lovely Aire at Mortagne au Perche. Hedged pitch's for six vans with an extra gravel bit at the end. Fist night three of us, second night eleven and last night twelve. It's a good location of the N12. Shame it's an up hill walk to the town. We walked in both days, the hill climb just gave us the excuse for another croissant.

Agree lovely aire , we've used it several times over the last 3 years, always use the super u back upon the roundabout.

That looks fantastic for fishing, did you see anyone fishing...?

Olvera...gorgeous!
Thanks Sue, you're quite a bit further west than I'd thought. It does look absolutely glorious, I guess from the look on your face that you're having a wonderful time!

Lynmouth. (y)
Yes, was passing through, and seemed fairly quiet, so stayed overnight parked next to Harbour wall.
Plus the added bonus of hearing the water racing down the Gorge all night:):)

The downdraft from those things is something else- you did well to get a pic from underneath!
I was lying flat on my back... (y)
(A few more pics & story here if of any interest)

Funny, it's not so long ago (April) I got pics of a very similar aircraft from above, 800 miles away from here :)

Many thanks, interesting to me as I spent some 25 years in Mountain Rescue.
