A photo of the day thread

Tidying up the MH after a weekend trip, ready to go back to storage, when a very young grey squirrel suddenly emerges from underneath the vehicle and starts following me around, and trying to run up my trouser leg. No chance - squirrels are basically rats with good PR so I'm not having one anywhere near my nuts. It takes refuge inside the front wheel, and despite me poking bits of twig through the holes in the wheel to dislodge it, the little sod won't budge. Here it is playing pee-po near the tyre valve, taunting me:

Broken Link Removed
Having had problems with rodent gnawings in the previous MH I consider what it might do if it gets in the engine bay and decide enough is enough.

I quite literally flushed it out with a watering can full of water poured into the wheel holes. I've no idea where it's gone now, but the MH is back in storage, and one hopes it didn't have a passenger in the engine.

And what wheel is that...? Was it front offside or rear left.... it could be any wheel... you know funsters like to know where it is...! ;)

Woodwork is great, lots of skills from these guys.

It's one of the four located between the bottom of the MH and the road surface. I never did understand the offside rule.

Okay where do I order this from? Will look lovely on the rear deck? Anybody?
Think this such a stunning piece of work... If I owned this piece of art I would think I had won the lottery big time ... truly x

View attachment 183910 @Stretto Boy great pics but why is there a bum in a pair of knickers on a skateboard above your dog's ear?

Sorry, you have caught me out showing off. I just wanted to let the world know of my skill in making feet look like a bum in a swimming suit (not knickers) on a skateboard. Not everybody can do it. :)

Like it, 10/10 for quick thinking!:rofl:

Took the camper to Cyprus in 1999 and had a great time.
Which crossing did you take? The only one I could find went from Syria to the Turkish occupied northern part of Cyprus and I don't fancy driving the Moho through either of those areas! We left Miss Daisy at home this time and flew.

No ferries these days apart from expensive commercial cargo ships, from Southampton and Bristol I think. We went from Piraeus to Limassol. Two days with a stop at Rhodes if I remember rightly. We had a flat in Cyprus at the time and had often flown, but decided to do something different. There was one other Dutch camper on the island at the time and we were quite a curiosity as we travelled round. Only found a couple of campsites but wilding was easy and beach restaurants made us very welcome.

Beach restaurants are still very much in evidence. I have seen a couple of caravans but no mohos here

The earth has spun all the way round and the sun has popped up again over Agia Napa. The full moon is still visible opposite the sun

Hi @Shrimp
I take it that's St Nicolas de Bliquetuit aire ,one of our favourite's
we stay here on most of our trips.

Correct, couldn't be bothered to get the spelling right, have always used Mailleraye before but thought we'd have a change, bit tight tho-12 MHs on that night!

couldn't pick just one from last night, the real highpoint of the trip so far, truly awesome, they filled the sky, actual show so much better than photos for all I said o_O:)(y)

I did take quite a few more but have restricted what I put on here (y)(y)
