First time we've been an 'end of terrace'....

My 'Ike' did an impromptu afternoon gig in @dabhand / @canopus awning - very loud and very rough - so is now chillin, in preparation for a busy weekend. Even you @JJ have to agree - it is a beauty....

After 4 fantastic weeks touring France we are now parked up at Cité Europe ready for the shuttle tomorrow morning.
We have had a great time seen some spectacular scenery and had great weather.

Water rat seen today on our walk round the pond.

Think that's your bog standard brown rat, rattus norvegicus, water rats, a la Wind in the Willows are technically water voles and have a hairy tail.

The thing I like about this shot, my apprentice photographer, aged 6 at the time, took the shot after 10 days practice. I just edited it a little.

Wareham Carnival today , first time we have been so plesently surprised by the turn out and different floats . There was even a Wareham pride float, which was good to see.

Why, they even washed their feet before walking onto the hallowed ground...

Absolutely, superbly, fabulous to see Champers and Sheriff again.
