Well done. Would love to see more photos of the next stage of their lives.

We were really strong and left Sicily without any of the puppies that had been born on the site.
We did this knowing that they were all going to good homes.......or so we thought.

Got a call from our friends in Switzerland where the puppies were being re-homed from to say that one of the people had changed their minds.

Luckily, when I say NO! she knows that I mean NO! and no fluttering of eyelids or promises of unlimited beer is going to change my mind.

Glad we got that straight!

Yet another hot day 33deg glad we've air con in the room and a bit of a breeze. Albeit like a hairdryer !

Today's delights for the foodies.
Lunch at the campsite ( camping no problem ) along the beach front . We were going to have one serving each ,but Maria said we'd only want one to share. I'm glad we took her advice!

For us greedy guts it's a rarity .
It was more a leg of lamb than a shank .

Complete with lots of traditional Greek accompliments .

Both had a nap in the sun afterwards. We went for a walk up to the icarus and daedalus statues before tea, once ready if only to make room to eat !

I couldn't eat all my mixed meat grill..........

We were there a couple of weeks ago - had some amazing food beautifully presented. Apparently people come from a long way away just to eat at the campsite restaurant even though they're not staying at the campsite. We are still in Crete until next week. Where are you off to next?

Kids out on the river yesterday ,learning basic skills and agility,each in turn had to get up and "walk the plank " strung the length of the two tethered canoes ,no fear as most were dancing and waving to all sat on our boats watching.
Great to be young we just got chucked in the deep end and told swim !

Too shattered last night to post these, but this weeks project was to take a 12 month old Sunseeker Motor-yacht and make it look better than it did when it was new!

But we shall be returning again in a couple of years . Aghia Galini is a special place to us having married there 23 year ago .
Once we retire we will drive down . We long to do it and stop on the site .

We're going to Misterton next weekend in our Pug! If it's sunny we shall be sat outside the van with our little table set up Greek styleee. Reminiscing

We leave on Thursday . We're very fond of Ayia Galini and have stayed there a few times for a 'holiday within a holiday' when we're in Crete for our holiday. Our area of Crete is Makri Gialos in the South East of the island, which is where we had our honeymoon 20 years ago. Hope the sun shines for you at Misterton ................ got the ouzo and the raki???
