A photo of the day thread

I'm parked up in the field at the Stepping Stones Festival at Kirklinton Hall :) Just been to see the first act, which was Devils Water. They were very good. I can offer a virtual prize (can't afford a real one :crying1:) for the first person to name the guitarist in the baseball cap who made a guest appearance:

O.K. then Movan. Here's the clue. His daughter, a singer, is named after a flower.

Also for on cougars on here, the phone number of the guy on the left facing. :)

He said he is frightened of Cougars.

I'm actually staying overnight at a proper site 4 miles down the road, so I'm in the car park having a cup of tea at the moment.

Just the one Toad as far as I can see and no sign of the horse.

Good morning Movan. Apologies for the radio silence but the WiFi signal dropped out overnight. Don't give up. The prize is utterless worthless, so don't miss out.

Saw him again last night, in "An audience with R--- ----" Another picture:

Indeed so! Rick Kemp it is. Congratulations.

You can choose your virtual prize from a crock of gold at the end of the rainbow or a large wad of cash:

Out with Laika the wonderdog this morning and saw the silver cloud docked next to HMS Belfast. A tad overcast but the sun is breaking through now. Almost directly opposite Hayes Gallery and if you continue walking east then you have More London where the mayors buildings is ( Sadiq Khan ) , then Potters field which has great flowering beds .

Had a great walk today , from home to Canary wharfe . 8 mile round trip . We were lucky and were so close to Tower Bridge as it lifted. Walked through St Katherine's Dock (. Right near Tower Bridge), walked along the canal and saw 3 large fish . When we arrived a cold beer in the square , which reminded me of Spain for some reason.
Laika the wonder dog is now asleep:)

Large fish!!!!!!! They look like sharks to me! :Eeek:

My wife, not content with three horses, a dog and a cat now tells me she wants to take this little fella home. I agreed that it would be nice but my references to a freshly baked soft roll and a little brown sauce were not well received. The photo was taken around lunchtime today (y) at Kirklinton Hall just north of Carlisle.

Thanks again Kevin for sharing your walks in this fantastic city. Everything from parakeets in Hyde park large obscure fish in the canal and sights to behold around every corner. Laika is a very lucky wonder dog.(y)
We have spent the day on Studland another place to walk the dog. Went across on the chain link early, had breakfast in the NT café on the beach where we watched a seagull diving for crabs, they were so big all it could do was drag it by the leg to the shore but never managed to keep one of them. I think the crab must have been pinching it's leg.(y)
