A photo of the day thread

Keep it to yourself but it is Stacksteads Farm at Ingleton £13/night inc EHU,& wifi. We're here because it also has a small but beautiful Swimming Pool & Gym and our daughter has driven up for Mothers Day so that they can thrash about in the Gym & Pool (go figure??) whilst I am left in charge of the Remoska and wine!!
The pool and gym are £5 per person for as long as you want. I think they went in yesterday!!!
Sounds lovely!!

Spent a couple of days at Longleat CMC site, walked to the Horse and Groom yesterday evening through the lanes and witnessed this cracking sunset.

Shame I only had the iPhone with me to take the photo!

Just had the weekend at Tudor Park, Slimbridge. We've been here a few times. Handy for nature reserve, pub on site and lovely walks down the canal. We got lucky this time with a tall ship coming through and cracking sunsets. Mind you that wind was cold Friday and Saturday.

Heavily pregnant young lady appeared one morning in to our site in Sicily.
A lovely Swiss couple took her in.
Hopefully they will arrive soon.

Bottom right is puppy no. 1
Bottom left is puppy no.7

We have alerted the local police to be on the lookout for the father of puppy no.1
He is literally 3 times the size of the others and after only 10 days is growing at an astonishing rate.
The other six have tails, he doesn't.
We think his Dad is something like a cross between a Bull Mastiff and a Hippo.
Should be easy to spot.
( There is ofcourse the statutory black one as well )....just sayin!

"Wife, oh wifey dear, any chance you can wax the van so i can take a photo,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,please"

Some photos I took this morning of the view from our van parked on a CL just outside the village of Errol near Dundee. Still learning how to use new camera. We are now on the C&MC site at Banchory for tonight an then for the weekend at a CL at Gamrie Bay, Gardenstown.

Number one son leaving the diamond mines of Northern Angola and starting the long trek home (Cape Town) - 3 days flying.
He absolutely loves flying that machine and gets paid immoral amounts of USD to do so.
There's a price to pay though, 2 weeks "man down with malaria". It happens most years.

weekend at a CL at Gamrie Bay, Gardenstown.
@pops We spent a couple of weeks there in 2015 whilst visiting family in the area. Great little CL, Linda popped by every day to check on things and say hello. Each pitch with grey waste and fresh tap with hookup.
Enjoy.

Not brilliant photos but wanted to share my happiness with you ... after having to live at parents for years because of their dementia and cancer, my garden was totally overgrown and lost most of my plants.. been working on it over the cold of winter .. still long way to go .. but soooooooo pleased .. my aubretia and magnolia have survived the stranglehold of the weeds, thorns etc... whey hey... :)
