In search of warmer weather we've headed to El Palomar, just south of Valencia. 10 Euros per night inc water, toilets, spotless showers and even use of the washing machine. Electricity is 3 euros extra, there is a cheaper 'car park' with less facilities. Very friendly owner, we'll be happy here for a few days.

Went for a walk on Dartmoor this afternoon. This shot is looking south west over Plymouth Sound with Rame Head sticking out into the sea. The diggings in the foreground are the China Clay quarries.

Yes there is. We've seen odd shaped clouds there before but never like this one.
Lenticular clouds form when a mountain pushes the air stream upwards into the colder, higher atmosphere. The water condenses out, forming the cloud, then the air sinks down after the mountain and warms up so the condensation stops. The odd thing is the cloud stands still while the air is passing through it. There are different varieties, some forming at low levels, others at high altitude. :)

Totally fed up ... hadn't even reversed onto pitch and ..... had to be towed ....

The young man, bless him, refused any money ... being old and alone has it's advantages. :(

We want to retire to Bridport / West Bay (y)
I'm very fond of Bridport and surrounding area, it's a bustling town with lots of independant shops & good market .... my brother and wife have a place in "Brid" so we get to visit occasionally.(y)
