A photo of the day thread

..... and this morning's harvest

We've had loads of raspberries so far, about time to freeze some for the owners; ditto the beans; ditto the tomatoes! Going to eat all the blackberries though - the ones the dogs haven't scrumped (they eat windfall apples too)

a Brommie 50T 1920.jpg
Loving the view, van and pink Brommie!!

The Brommie is "Uncle Pete". After my Uncle died we found it while clearing his flat.

He's painted it by hand..in Matt Black. I used T-Cut to remove what I could and was left with a Pink & Black blotchy Brommie.

I love it. I always wanted one but could never really justify the £900. No other folding bike combines the convenience, the quality and the ride-quality as well as the Brompton.. AND IT'S MADE IN BRITAIN !!!!!

Lovely that you are using an inherited Brommie ! Love the pink colour!!

Hi Fidget

The Caravan Club site at Altnaharra was where I was this morning.

Miles and miles of "A" roads with only one lane covering both directions. Very few vehicles to distract one from the views. Brilliant.

Fortunately we had followed the rule to keep topped up in fuel. No fuel in Durness or Tongue which might worry someone.
