A photo of the day thread

David God!!!!!

Really must check results of predictive text. That must be the worse I have ever had. Hehe

Could have been a lot worse, :) my surname is Godfrey anyway I thought you somehow knew that (y)

will be looking out that little gem of a location you found, I did realise it wouldn't be the club site, my mistake for lazy typing, I thought it might have been one of their certified sites, like the CC CL's

We were only up there a couple of weeks ago, stayed on a site in Gairloch that is convenient for eating out but nothing like that view you have found (y)

Just come from the Chateau at Chantilly. Great weather and we really enjoyed walking around the gardens.
For more images of the place see our blog post.

Two days of washing, waxing and polishing. I'm knackered but it's a job done. Roof, front, back and sides. Just a couple of bits and peices to finish off then it will be ready for Penbery and no doubt covered in sheep rubbish by the time we get down there. There must be an easier way LOL.

I'll not be sleeping then ! :( Never do when it's a full moon!:LOL:
@DavidG58 love your photo of the moon so clear.

Did somebody mention the moon :whistle:

not the best moon photo I have taken, but loved the colour and by the time I got back out to try again it is covered by cloud :(

Tonight's full moon is the Harvest Moon. The "Harvest Moon" is the full moon closest to the autumnal equinox (22 or 23 September). So named because the additional light from the full moon enabled farmers to work longer and later at bringing in the harvest, Native Americans call it the Corn Moon.

There will also be a Lunar Eclipse;

Kept me awake and it was cloudy!! The thunder and lightening did to but no rain yet?!

Love that picture Carol , the innocence of children playing on the beach in the early evening is a wonderful sight.:)

It was even extra special I was talking to the teacher and they were on a bonding week from a inner city school and the children were amazed that there were rocks and stones on the beach, and though they were 11/12 years old for a solid hour they were fascinated with the rocks on the beach. It was a delight watch them discover new things.

How great is that ,we often forget that there are still thousands of children who have never left their home city so for them to experience the sea shore like that must have been lovely for you and them.
Is it the lovely Shell island?
