A photo of the day thread

It's nice to share. :)

They had better leave me the other two when they are ripe.......

I know, I said 'funny', but it's got to be disappointing too.
Glad the wasps weren't still in it when you picked it though

Me too. Allergic to wasp stings

Time for pigeon pie methinks ;)

For someone else to eat..... was brought up on a farm and most of what we ate was what my old man could poach legally gather, which included the aforesaid sky rats and cute fluffy bunnywunnies plus a few other things..... Can't stand them to this day. Especially peasants

Brighton beach this morning , a tad blustery . Mind you that didn't stop a few people from going for a swim.
That's the old burnt out pier in the back ground with the new BAi360 opposite, which opens this Thursday.
Tickets bought , let's hope it's a clear day.

Well it has finally happened ..... I have turned into my grandmother ...God rest her soul. Polly @toledo convinced me crocheting is a good pastime ... then Bev @DavidG58 tells me she is learning from the same book and @Gerri19 too.... :) ... watch this space for our amazing creations ... like tea cosies and drip mats and bootees .

Keep trying. I've been crocheting for years and really enjoy it. Great pastime.

Your pic made me wonder if our generation has chosen vertical over horizontal for their "experiences" - going up towers as opposed to along piers.
Probably an optical illusion but it looks as if you laid the BAi360 down, it would reach that part of the pier still standing ?

Now I know why my mum used to say NEVER TRUST AN ELEPHANT WITH ITS TRUNK DOWN!!!!!!!!!! :)
Err...... Down is usually safe. It is the opposite direction that should have worried you :Eeek:

I feel I need to be a bit cheeky here , our generation would be happy with vertical or horizontal , it's the experience which counts. ;)
