A photo of the day thread

Another day bites the dust over Idle Hour CS near Crowborough. East Sussex

And for those that like to peek inside there are a wealth of treasures to ogle. EASILY the most valuable is the only original Rembrandt owned by the NT, a superb self portrait recently proven to be an original following exhaustive and state of the art testing by experts. It now takes pride of place in a very secure position, and it's current value is a cool 50 MILLION POUNDS !!!!

Anyone else thinks this is Johnny Vegas with a feather in his hat:laughing::laughing:

shame Poccetino is rumoured on his way to Argentina National team.

If you believe that you'll believe anything - paper talk.

Pochettino will stay at Spurs and see his project through, building a young, vibrant team with a solid backbone of young English talent brought through our academy or from the lower leagues. We don't try and buy success the way the rich "sugar daddy" clubs do. We are the youngest team in the PL and had the best defensive record too, one of the best keepers and the golden boot striker in Kane.

Hopefully us and Leicester have proven it's not always a bunch of expensive superstars that can bring glory. Pochettino has built a team of young guns that will fight as hard as they can - sometimes too hard if you remember the battle of Stamford bridge, but that showed just what a team spirit he has installed in the players. Yes we ran out of steam towards the end, but I defy any team that is stuck with the Europa League to win a title.

We've added Janssen, the top striker in Holland last season with 27 for his club and 3 for the National side, to back up Kane who as we all know was run into the ground as the only striker at the club. We've added Wanyama as cover for defensive midfield, and we're on the cusp of signing probably the best young winger to come out of France in years.

A brand new stadium is being built which will be the biggest in London. In the meantime we have Champions League football at Wembley, why would Pochettino turn his back on that?

Hopefully the future is bright and the the future is lily-white.

Spent the day at Ascot. Lovely weather, but betting on a horse because you like its name, colours or the jockeys face doesn't mean it's going to win:eek:

Thought you would have taken the price tag of your outfits for the photo.

We went to a friend's charity hoedown fundraiser night. This pic show him with Jess + her mum (who's charity it is) + the fantastic Elvis impersonator. Jess has terminal brain tumours and has undergone many ops. But she's always smiling, always positive. She will feature on TV shortly. John is also organising a Triumph Motorbike world record attempt, sponsored by Staffordshire Triumph

Spent all day in the garden yesterday lugging stones, plants and building a swing. We also got very burnt in the hot sun. The stones were a piece of cake compared to building the swing which took four hours for a non DIY bloke:rolleyes: Plants are mostly creepers so hoping they put some colour to the back of the garden (y) Decking still needs another coat at the front but think we're do ok for a couple who have never had garden before:) Picture taken just now.

Taken yesterday but waited for internet today to upload. We have just completed the Trans-pennine trail from Southport to Hornsea on bikes, our first long distance trip by pedal power. 245 miles covered from coast to coast and chuffed we made it but our next trip will be in the motorhome :-)

Hi Fidget, I should have mentioned it. It's Decize in France. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decize
It's along the Loire, nice little town, good fishing if that's your thing. There is a Camping site along the river but we just parked up next to my friends boat along the canal.
