A photo of the day thread

Lettuce do not really like replanting

Now I am all confused...

Just checked online and the BBC gardening guide says I should wait until the seedlings are about 2 cms (an inch) high and then they should be spaced out to give them room to grow properly...

My head is starting to hurt.

Who needs to bother with cassettes and chemicals and/or SOGs?

Just squat down and poo in a hedge...

...make sure you are far enough away from your van (and the 119 ones of your mates)...

You don't want to stink them out now, do you?

JJ

@The Old Man if you are going back again I can recommend the Thai curry paste, we bought some from a food festival locally and they were lovely, tasty but not too spicy.

Oh sorry JJ, hate to think of you being confused. :( I was just applying the wrong logic and thinking of them as I would flowers and thought they looked a bit cramped. Don't listen to me.........:):)

Found this photo of when I took Kimberley all over France with me in 2012 when mum's dementia got so bad that she could no longer care for her properly. Do you know the little darling stuck to me like glue from the word go and did so right up to the end. This was taken in my old Honda Stepwagon conversion by Wellhouse leisure. I'd temporarily removed the front passenger seat to make more room at night for when the bed was extended. She didn't use that space but slept under my bed instead. During the day she sat tightly beside me as I drove every day and never budged from that spot for a fortnight. In the end she got so close to me that she interfered a bit with the handbrake and the cable from the satnav, so I had to wedge a small backpack down beside me. I'm sure she's still with me now TBH.

I'm sure she is and you've got some lovely memories and doesn't Kimberley look happy in the photo. You gave her a wonderful life.

You're right she does! I think she knew which side of her bread was buttered alright. Always reckon it's the dogs who pick their owners.

Not today, a photo from today is not a pretty sight! But last week when we met our friends for our first night with them. Taken at the Motorhome parking area in the Cañon del Rio Lobos and a couple in the actual cañon.

Another bad day, the wind is from the Festival to my apartment windows, so the smells are already overpowering :)

Glorious hot sunny day again .. walking past the Abbey gardens when heard the most amazing singing. Not religious but like to think am spiritual.. turns out there is a seminar on. Beautiful singing but a little concerned what is in the briefcase the priest has dumped:(

@movan we were at Stratford the week before you and walked all round the Shakespeare trail, where was the big bear that you and Carol stood under, didn't see that! ?

It was inside the theatre building ... where you can pay to go up in the tower and view for miles around. We probably wouldn't have found him if not for the torrential rain that drowned us. :)

Frankie's stadium has been over run by some of our Gypsy cousins (120 units)...

I put up photos of the results of some of them using the hedges as loos...

They have even arranged for their own hook ups... they don't pay €10 per night for electricity...
