Time to get out there regardless of the fickle UK weather. Went on CAMC to book 2 nights at Cromer, £100.20 !!!!. One hundred pounds for two nights. Ridiculous. How on earth is the average person supposed to be funding this. Me and mrs B often would spend up to that amount at the location/ town on food , booze etc. I know costs for energy etc have gone up but……
Anyway. Now booked two nights at the lovely Woodhill park East Runton for £55.
Goodbye CAMC sites, up your Khyber.

Come to Scotland, you are most welcome in the borders town of Hawick and its FREE! water and elsan point included and just a few minutes walk into town. (y)
Is that in a specific car park area?

I just looked at the new motorhome aire at Portmerion, £65 for a medium size pitch 7m x 4m or £75 for a 8m x 5m.
It does say out of hours access to Portmerion is included, not sure what they mean by out of hours though ?
Edit. reading the reviews it seems out of hours access is in addition to day access and the reviews seem to think good value even at those prices
I suppose Portmerion is a unique place and worth a visit, and the aire is very convenient.

Camping and Caravan club site at Mablethorpe, Good Friday, Saturday, Easter Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday, departing Tuesday by 12.00, 2 adults, 2 children, Motorhome and Screen House Pro 4, Hardstanding with Electric,
£180 all in, so basically £45 per night and its school holls and Easter!
Premier Inn at Cleethorpes or Skegness, by comparison, Saturday Night to Sunday Morning, same Easter Weekend, 2 adults only and no food…….£105 per night!
Think I have a bargain! 😊👍

Hi.
Same type of thing here in the same town. Praia de Mira. Municipal Campismo, very central, closed thursday, due to there being a National Convention on it until This thursday . We paid 11 euros a night Dog goes free, leccy water shower block and toilets laundry. Went down the road about a mile to a private site ( It looks very nice ) 32 Euros a night plus dog,all in ......... We only live an hr/hr and a quarter away so came home until this thursday and going back to the Municipal. Caught up with some jobs at home.
Tea Bag

We are going to our favourite parking in Slowakia - beautiful views and good basic restaurant.

If the parking attendant is working at Easter it could be €8 a night. We have only paid 2-3 times in 10 visits. No facilities but we are self-sufficient.

Good Czech beer(6%) and about £2/0.5lt

Please pass this post on to CCC and CAMC

Oh yes, and I can also recommend “Gerados” Restaurant in the same road as you head back into town.
Very informal and a very good menu selection catering for all requirements.
Can get busy at peak times but you can book.
We have eaten at late afternoon, (4.30 ish) on a Saturday and it was really good and relaxed.
Will look up Lady B’s. Quite like these quirky “Tea Rooms”. 😊👍

I'm staying at a C&CC Temporary Holiday Site over Easter. £10/night 👍 it's the only reason I'm in the club.
Thats what we are planning but I think there has to be a lot of drying out this week or a big chance you may get stuck in the mud with the amount of rain we've had.

We were there for day last as they were building the campsite, made enquiries about it and whilst at the time they hadn't decided on the pricing structure we said we'd certainly come back.
It would cost us £65 for a medium pitch, and yes, the next time we are down that way we'd use it, as I think it would become a rather special experience once the day visitors had left.
Offset the cost with a pub stopover either side 👍

Its nice enough just abit remote for us.
Tiz very wet at the mo so bring your wellies!
Forecast looks to hopefully be ok for the week ahead! Fingers crossed 🤞
