We head out of Vienna from the south. I could not bear to drive through Vienna again.
At Krems the campsite is small and the pitches are small.

We have to take off our bike rack just to fit on. It is nice though and a short walk into Krems. We had a walk into the town to the left where the university was and it was all quite nice.

We get a couple of expensive beers and have a chill.
Next day we turn right into the main town. Again nice but not many people about.

Monastry on the opposite side of the Danube was probably worth a visit but we never got there.

We did find a proper Bierkeller.
Its here that we conjure up our next move. If the kids are off for another week is the rest of Austria going to be the same.
We have been spoilt by Croatia and want more of the same. Its then that we return to our conversations with Will and Sue about Prague. Ang and Paul had never been, Angela and I had been 5 times though never in our motorhome. We had been to Cesky Krumluv and Cesky Budovic in 2010 after Austria had been too wet and remember it as a very beautiful and very old place.
When we walk back to the site we find a cruise ship has just arrived and hundreds of tourists fill up the once empty bars. We convinced ourselves it will be like this all the way up the Danube. Plus it was expensive.
That's it then Czechia here we come.
