Are you surprised.....? Though if it was stopping me park up, I would say something and expect them to create space .....it's busy but two selfish buggers have their awnings out, so taking two spaces effectively.
This is not a camping site.. its a car park that allows overnight parking .. see last post with rulesAn awning size gap between vans seems a reasonable distance to me anyway (Awning or no Awning) - For safety reasons and to avoid being kept awake by other peoples snoring.
Doesnt look like they are in a marked bay. They may get a parking charge notice if the canopy is outside the marked bay .
It is run by LPS

dunno .. only quoting what the rules are .. Ian may have more info ..Doesnt look like they are in a marked bay.
It's not a Caravan and Motorhome site.Correct me if I am wrong but, isn't there supposed to be a minimum 6m gap between each vehicle.
Paul
If that's the case. They have done nothing wrong having the awning out. There are no marked bays, it's park where you like. So they aren't breaking any rules I guess.
It's not just C&MC that "enforces" that criteria. It's not a Caravan and Motorhome site.
Entitled motorhomers well I neverWe've been parked at Stratford cricket ground £27 for 3 nights, no services just parking, it's busy but two selfish buggers have their awnings out, so taking two spaces effectively.

Anything in the T&Cs about not putting out an awning or camping behaviours? Would have thought the cricket club would have said something if not allowed.

Breaking the rules, ie parking outside the marked bay will incur a parking charge.
If rule broken persistently , it may result in motorhome parking being ultimately banned..
Just because some pen-pusher decides that 6 metres is the rule, doesn't mean it is right or even necessarily sensible. In the UK the 6m rule should be enforced. IMO.
If you have used some French Aires that rule doesn’t apply, as long as you can get door open that’s itCorrect me if I am wrong but, isn't there supposed to be a minimum 6m gap between each vehicle.

Our insurance company dictates that a minimum spacing of 6 metres is required between motorhomes. There should also be 3 metres clear around the entire outfit; where an outfit is taken to mean and include the motorhome (or caravan) an awning room, pup tent, trailer and car. When siting vans remember that emergency vehicles should also be able to secure access at all times to within 50 metres of any Motorhome on the site.
