Yes. You can also buy the very cheapest supermarket tea bags and put those into shoes.
What happens if you're wearing your shoes with the anti-odour bags inside & it rains?

When I worked over the big hill in Yorkshire, the lads there would put a teabag AND milk in their mug and pour the boiling water in. Is this usual practice or just around Brighouse? :X3::X3::X3:

Disgusting :-(

All serious tea drinkers know that Tiffy is the correct method. Miffy is so below stairs.

Don't remember where I read it but apparently put them in the pans you have used in your mh and wash with them .. saves water. I actually started doing it and IT WORKS .. I guess it works on plates and cups too but I usually have them soaking in hot water already so not tried it yet.

At home they go in compost or I split them open and put in houseplant pots ..

Cold wet tea bags are really good to apply to burns (that have not broken the skin) or scalds. Something to do with evaporative cooling and tannins. Anyhow seems to work on me.

Into the food waste bin that we have collected weekly by the local council

Me too, but mum had beautiful house plants, 'waterd' with the dregs of tea that had stood on the cooker for hours.

Ours go into the compost with all the egg shells and veg peelings etc.
We MIGHT try proper tea when we get back from Spain though.

My mum used to rip the bag open and put the leaves on her indoor plants, she reckoned it perked them up.

many many years! since I was a kid
my sister was moving to another flat so my father and i went in and redecorated before the furniture arrived. my sister's job was do the cleaning and supply tea bags, milk and coffee etc. by the second evening we were out of tea bags. so as a joke i pegged the used ones on the washing line in the garden. two weeks after she moved in, the tenant upstairs knocked on her door to ask if he could remove the bags and hang out some washing. till then my sister hadn't noticed what i had done

We are no longer Newbie's.
Our neighbours, who we were best friends with, had long lost relatives coming to stay. When they went to pick them up from the airport we hung a load of used tea bags on their washing line. We were sat in our back garden when they returned and as they were showing the new arrivals around I heard their voices as they ventured outside. After a pause I heard the neighbour calling over the fence, "Taylor, you bastard"!! Why he thought it was me I have no idea?!!:LOL::LOL:

They go into our compost or wormery, although the 'bags' can be up to 30% plastic - not liked by the worms! So because of that we've just moved to loose tea and a tea infuser.
How does it compare cost wise ?

Getting better
Never use them. Leaf tea is the way to go a completely different drink.
The very worst are those terrible fruit concoctions, to be avoided at all times.

... must be a bit messy if they split open!!!! :D

If something is spilled, eg some milk whilst you were putting in the cup/mug, use the tea-bag you've taken out (assuming it is well squeezed) to mop up the spill ... works for other stuff too.:)

I compost them at home but don't know what I'm going to do in the MH. As a lifelong composter I may struggle with having to throw out teabags, coffee grounds and veg peelings...
