Vitoria-Gastiez, Spain 4th September 2023

Left Briviesca after three very peaceful nights, called in at E Leclerc supermarket to pick up the last supplies before France in a couple of days. I'll be filling the fuel up as well tomorrow, apparently it's expensive there! Pitched up at a large parking area near Eroski in Vitoria-Gastiez, it's heaving! There's a Mercadona just across the road as well. I'm going to have a walk about and then probably move on to my initial destination which is Agurain. I wanted to have a look around here and it's also not too far from a Via Verde so possibly one for the future. Edit: it was a 30 minute walk to the old part of the city and there was plenty to see, more cathedrals than you could shake a stick at and plenty of bars and shops. The parking area was even busier when I returned to the moho and I decided to leave but would come back for a proper look around rather than two or three hours
