Huerta, Spain 22nd August 2023

This is a nice aire with unmarked parking, some of which has shade but I decided an open space was better as we don't see the sun much in Sunderland 😎. The real reason was to utilize the solar panels as I've got the roof-mounted evaporative fan running to see if it actually works as it's designed to! Today was a first for the new van, a visit to a weighbridge! This was at area de autocaravanas Narros del Castillo which only has one pitch as far as I could see but the weighbridge was the attraction. It's easy to use, you put 30c into the machine and it gives you a reading (minus the driver). Let's just say the reading wasn't as good as I hoped! It should be manageable though a bit of weight will have to be shed! Going to have a look in town later. Edit: the night started peacefully but at 1.30am youths congregated shouting and singing for 45 minutes before the statutory barking Alsatian in a nearby compound started up. A pity because it's a nice location
