I love how the Belgians do a proper job and provide the right shape glass to present the beer so it looks and tastes to its best.
Been in a few pubs around me lately where you can get a pint in an inappropriate glass for the beer. I shouldn't let them get away with it I guess in addition to not bothering to visit again.

Winter Leffe, I've not tried that yet

Winter Leffe is more like the brown than ruby. Prefer the brown but got the winter cheap tho.
Here is another daft strength Belgium beer. De Garre brew it in Bruges on the premises. Visited in June and bought a six pack. Had to get the glass from the bottle shop.

11% but doesn't taste it. If you like strong beer and are in Bruges it's well worth finding. They also had Golden dragon on draft.

That one looks great. Perfect colour

Have 16x Christmas Ale from Dartmoor.

Not strong but very slightly spiced up, not sure if they add anything. Very tasty.

Belgian Toasted beer, fruity. Very good.
With some sheep cheese from Zamora and a Damm Lemon for the missus.

This week I’ve tried white rose brewery's black rose stout, that was very nice, and titanic plum porter, also very good, and also jubel peach, also very good!

Probably does, but without all the good stuff in it.

Some bottles are nicer than others, I always revert back to Timmy Taylor landlord or black sheep but there’s no comparison whatsoever between bottled beers and finding a proper pub with good hand pulled ale that’s been kept well.

I think the rigwelter cherry is only available in small cans . Well it was from the brewery anyway.

Theakstons lightfoot.

4.1% lovely light hoppy and citrus but not overpowered by the citrus.
£7 for 4 at Morrisons.
Just had to get 4
Never seen it in bottles before. Only ever had it on draught from the brewery pub.
