We e stayed twice. Well kept site and you can get a discount taxi service from the owners. Both ways to York and back. It’s also a nice walk to town along the river. We used this one https://www.manorfarmcaravanparkyork.co.uk/

We are off to try this site on TuesdayYork Caravan Park. Adults only, dogs allowed. Gorgeous site, great facilities pitches fully serviced. Bus stop outside gate for bus to York, Scarborough and Whitby if you fancy a long ride. About 2.5 mile walk into York itself. Not cheap but cheaper than both York CAMC sites.
Hope you enjoy it. It’s our go to site when visiting York. Nice shower rooms. We are off to try this site on Tuesday
