I miss my Westerly 33 ketch, in Greece over 30 years, but not the crawling around doing the maintenance.

I miss her for the wonderful cruising. She is now in the hands of a good friend, boat engineer+ and looking good, so I am hoping I might be invited to be crew.

I swapped for N&B Arto and enjoy it as much as the boat. Probably not swap it, unless for something like a Morelo Home 82M

Had a 100/4 many moons ago but met up with a hedge over the moors. Hedge won, car scrapped. Bit of a banger anyway.

Did not realize just how special this was? The Red Full John Cooper works Clubman . One of only 25 made and certified . Provenance provided by JCW . Piston Heads magazine tested and track run to 75 mph only because of the original owner not wanting to spoil it!
I took it on and what you see is what it was . Absolutely awesome and only 14k on the clock when I sold it! 280 BHP !
Just wish I could get it back!

At over 70mph you could actually see the fuel gage move
Passing cars on the motorway would hear you before they saw you, as it sounded like a harrier jump jet taking off.

I think I paid £400 for it
I sold it to a mate who took the body off and put on a fake fibreglass Porche 911 body (The chassis and engine were very similar)

They are worth £20-30,000 today in good nick
