Whoosh Bang

Like most things on my van my sliding door is a bit 💩.

So if Im sharing a park up I enter and exit via the driver's door. Simples.

Its surely obvious now that no new PVC should be allowed to be sold without the electric soft door closing mechanism being fitted.
Those that already have PVC's without this facility, should be less anti social and have them retro fitted immediately.:xThumb:
Maybe a crowd funding page could be set up for those in need of financial support.;)

Gone in a whoosh without the bang:imoutahere:
Or maybe a separate area on campsites.

I’ve normally cabled the front door’s together so have to use the slide door to get out.

I await your New Years cheque in the post, or can the crowd funding be in my name?

Now that I have a pvc I’m really going to slam my door, just so I get some room around me….😎

Our first woosh bang had an electric soft close door which seemed to take ages to close with lots of whiring of electric motors, we tended to push to it to, and only properly close it at the end of the day. That habit continued for years. In fact we then noticed how much door slamming went on with the plastic vans. I would suggest some people could look at themselves on that score. Now we have a plastic van ourselves. I won't say I'll get my own back, coz I'm not like that, but due notice taken!

"PLASTIC VANS" well stand by for flak fron the "plastic van brigade". Priceless🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Ah one of the Plastic Van Brigade then.
Just for information, my van is an aluminium construction and I would think the door makes more noise when I slam it.

Just for clarification... you say your van is aluminium.. so are you saying you make more noise than a whooshbang.!!
Interesting!!

On my last motorhome (A class) the hab door would only close properly if slammed so probably as loud or louder than a whoosh bang. We actually go to bed quite early, and although nocturnal visits are necessary we wouldn't dream of going outside to pee. I realise some PVCs do not have a toilet though.

At last.. a non Whooshbanger who openenly admits his "non whooshbanger" is as as loud , or even noisier than the foresaid whooshbasher..
Sir. I salute you and admire you for courageously coming out and admiting that "ALL Motorhome Doors" make a noise .
Whooshbangers have a talent to ignore other Very Noisy Moho door noises...
However EVERONE else seem to lie awake all night listening for the nocturnal Whooshbang..
Think it is about time non Whooshbangers got a life and worried about other insignificant and illerevant issues.

Could it be a tin can.clanger  :clap2:

I look forward to parking next to noisy neighbours.

Doors, sliding doors, I’m not really worried.

I do normally win the noisiest neighbour competition though.

Different matter closing it from inside as you’ve got to pull hard to engage the catch.
Not so for ours 👍

closes from the inside with a click too.

You can pay £97,000 for a whoosh bang but the doors are quiet so it's pointless really

The thing is, I can make more noise with my normal door.
I wouldn‘t need a whooshbanger.

My £30000 Whooshbang is quiet..
It's not how much you spend.. its how you close said door.
Leave a roof light ajar and pull door closed then push back of door in to closed..
However if you really want to annoy the neighbours ( maybe they got yappy dogs, screaming weans or mid night parties) then I can Whooshbang as good as anybody.
