Whitby Goth Meet November 1st to 3rd

Looking forward to seeing everyone Friday. It has been a long time

We not getting dressed up on Friday but will make the effort on Saturday

i was hoping to get over to see you but both the car and the van off the road have a grate week end:thumb:
 
Sorry Bob and Val, I am going to have to call off, my wife has just gone into hospital with severe pain in her stomach, tests are being done, but nothing diagnosed as of yet, maybe linked with operation for gall bladder removal operation three months ago,

She is being kept in for at least a couple of days initially, obviously I am going to be around for her, wouldn't do to be seen scurrying off down to Whitby to join all my friends for a mega weekend of enjoyment :cry:,

Have been looking forward to it for ages, having missed out last year . . . . and I hope Bob and Val, to be one of the first on the list for next years Goth Meet,

Awww Ken. So sorry to hear about wife's illness ... please give her my regards. I hope she was back in this country when the problem started. Give her a gentle hug. . Thinking of you both. xx

Thanks Joy, that's very kind and thoughtful, and much appreciated, she arrived home a week ago, thank god,

No change in her condition and no diagnosis made, lady doctor came to her at 7.00 am this morning to inform her that she had made arrangements to send Trudy for a MRI scan shortly, then returned at 5.00 pm to apologise and assure her it would be done in the morning . . . . . makes you wonder, doesn't it !!!!!!!!!, :Angry:
 
:Sad: Oh, sorry to hear about the delay, Ken. The waiting can be the worst part because your mind plays havoc with you.

I am sure that knowing you are there to care means the world to her.

Thanks Peter and Elaine for your kind words, she had keyhole surgery to remove appendix about to burst, operation went well and she came home yesterday,

Down side was, some bas**ard nicked her coat whilst she was in theatre having the op and then being transferred to a different ward,

It takes all types . . . . enough to start a new thread on the honesty/morals of people, but i don't have the time at the moment !,

Hope that the Goth Weekend is going well and that the weather is a bit better than up here on Loch Lomondside, its been absolutely dreadful, black as night most of the day, with the accompanying torrential rain, winds and cold . . . and there are still tourists wandering about !!!!!!,[/SIZE]

I am looking forward to the Goth weekend photos .... and wondering how Ralph and Bev are going to top previous years' amazing costumes ...

Been a very good time here so far with more fun time tonight
Had rain sunshine thunder lightening all in one day
Great. Costumes by so many

My youngest daughter arrived today staying over night
So lots of good time to come

Picking up my lady friend on Monday. Then heading over to longridge
So will see you all there

Weather was sunny today and not too breezy coming back. Loads of traffic though.
