Hands up who's watching The Paradise on BBC1 ? If your stuck on what to wear there's Plenty of ideas for Whitby goth on there. All that Victorian clothing . From lower to upper class and everything in between. I'm checking out the ladies hair does for my look too this year. :thumb:

it looks as if the april goth is weekend of Roberts Birthday 25-27 April and the same weekend as peterborough motorhome show.

Please can you make sure you have us on the april list please, he wont forgive us if he cant go there for his birthday

Forgot it was in half term holidays so forget the bit about arriving just before midnight (albeit usually from London on a friday during term time thats when we would expect to arrive).

Is anyone staying overnight somewhere on the way up from London on the Thursday evening?

We will split our journey up

For anyone intending to arrive at Whitby and spend the day there before going on to the meet, be careful where you park your van in Whitby as regulations may have changed since your last visit. I wouldn't like anyone to get a ticket thinking they are OK.

Details of car parks in Whitby are on Scarborough Council's web site HERE. The only ones designated as Suitable for Motorhomes/Caravans are West Cliff Car Park and Abbey Headland Car Park.

Endeavour Wharf car park and the two Marina car parks are now designated as not for motorhomes/caravans.

There are also some on-street restrictions but not listed anywhere on the web.

Let's all hope the wind and rain does it's worse at the beginning of the week. Nothing as bad as a soggy goth
