56000 miles ! In one year?Depends on what you plan, we did most of a year with 110ah lead acid & 100w solar, though 56,000 miles driven to add charge.
If you don't plan to start taking all your 240v kitchen stuff & have had no issues with you past wild camping why change?
Lithium batteries are just the start of the expensive "wild camping" wormhole if you want to use 240v..

I'm very pleased with my fogstar 105ah battery . I'm offgrid 24/7/365
I only need one . I have a 1000watt inverter but I rarely use it. I bought 12v adaptors for all my electrical stuff. So it's only my wee g tech hoover I use inverter for . And occasionally a hand blenderThanks for reply how many do you use is one enough I run my small compressor of a 1500w inverter.

Where can you get a 340ah lithium battery for Ā£300 ?Definitely lithium if you are able to follow widely available instructions a 340ah lithium with Bluetooth and heating can be had for under Ā£300.IF you need to change other bits a 50a B to B with built in solar controller and starter battery maintainer can be around Ā£220
,leaving a 50amp smart mains charger at Ā£50
Additional solar at around 50 pence per watt
Ate these cheap Chinese bits?Buy 4x 3.3 v 340ah cells and a quality BMS simple self bolt together assembly

That doesn't make sense. Under what circumstances would a leisure battery take 3 weeks to charge? And why would a specific leisure battery take any longer to charge than a starter battery?hi just bit of advice to my wild camping experience no ehu at all my set up have 355 w of solar panels on camper van i use van battery now for many years 2 of them both 95 amp 1 bosch & 1 vart there lot faster to recharge up say 1 or 2 days full charge around Ā£125.00 each they last around 4 to 5 years ? where caravan leisure battery take up to 3 wks to charge up in winter months hope this is helpfull to you it works for me and i get around traveling the uk coast line good luck in you thinking carry on camping 27/06/2024
