Depends on what you plan, we did most of a year with 110ah lead acid & 100w solar, though 56,000 miles driven to add charge.
If you don't plan to start taking all your 240v kitchen stuff & have had no issues with you past wild camping why change?
Lithium batteries are just the start of the expensive "wild camping" wormhole if you want to use 240v..

Yes, a 12 Mth US road trip, visiting all 49 continental US State Capitols and so, so, many other places.
Flight to Hawaii for 50th..

It's why I also find the tyre discussions amusing, only had MOHO 2 years and worn through 8 tyres.
1st MOT 64,000 miles.

Wow that's pretty impressive mileage in a year.

Mutts nuts is undoubtedly lithium (lifePo4). You can use virtually all it's capacity, compared to say only 50% of the lead-acid. The lithium has very long lifespan in terms of number of charges and for the same physical size and capacity will be a lot lighter. But if your present charging kit (solar, engine relay/B2B, mains) is not lithium capable, despite some claims of "drop in", you won't get the best out of it, and upgrading all that kit becomes costly.

If you are moving very regularly, and your off grid needs are low (a bit of lighting, water pump, three way gas fridge, very little tv) then a standard good sized lead-acid will still be good and cost effective, even if it is heavy by weight and might only do a couple of hundred 50% discharges.

Thanks for reply how many do you use is one enough I run my small compressor of a 1500w inverter.
I only need one . I have a 1000watt inverter but I rarely use it. I bought 12v adaptors for all my electrical stuff. So it's only my wee g tech hoover I use inverter for . And occasionally a hand blender

Definitely lithium if you are able to follow widely available instructions a 340ah lithium with Bluetooth and heating can be had for under Ā£300.IF you need to change other bits a 50a B to B with built in solar controller and starter battery maintainer can be around Ā£220
,leaving a 50amp smart mains charger at Ā£50
Additional solar at around 50 pence per watt

As nearly all lithium cells are Chinese along with most BMS 's IE eve cells are cheap and made in china ...where/what make are the cells in the branded batteries ?It has to be remembered that a fair number of branded batteries are manufactured in China branded and retailed in the UK, retailers/importers will be adding 35 to 75%

That doesn't make sense. Under what circumstances would a leisure battery take 3 weeks to charge? And why would a specific leisure battery take any longer to charge than a starter battery?
