Didn't like Amsterdam a second time and Jacs hated it first time.
Too crowded with mental cyclists . I thought Brugges was bad but this is like walking round on adrenaline.
Ok for a trip to central station for atm's and shops (y)

Atmospheric conditions have just wiped out satellite reception. Nearly 21:00 here and gone very black

I've never seen so much lightening so frequent in my life it's like another planet but tv has come back on

Hence the need for the tablets, eh?

We had some of that heavy water weather too, but the sun is shining here at Polch. :)

Cheers,

Jock. ;)

Btw this Ouddorp site is €16.90 for 2 adults without electric
That also includes 100 litres of water and wifi which actually works plus toilets and shower

Dutchman on next pitch has attempted to leave his pitch against the direction the road is designed for (one way system) all the pitches are angled to suit this. He's not seen the lighting bollard until the damage is done
An old Hymer and it has penetrated the skirt in front of the step and thus wrecked the step too as he's not realised soon enough
I could almost cry for him but he was pretty stupid
He's busy banging away now with a box of hammers

Went and booked at Zeeland but after a walk about decided it is currently too bleak. It would be great if the weather was kind. Quite a lot of pitches cannot get satellite due to trees too tall as usual .
Now in Antwerp ! Now there's a surprise
Booked two nights so will get the tram outside the site at expo to the city tomorrow
When you pay for one night you can stay as late as 9pm the following night

Man at check in speaks English better than many English btw (y)
June €10.50 first night then €10
Water waste and toilet included.
Metered electric if required

It's just occurred to me that being in Belgium means chocolate shopping tomorrow :D

Thunder, lightning, and torrential rain here in Maastricht Andy & Jacs.
We are Pitched at the Marina, so more water shouldn't be a problem.

Moving on to near Poperinge tomorrow. :)

Cheers,

Jock & Rita. :)

If you are still in Antwerp, we highly recommend you give G.Bastin a try, one of the perhaps less famous chocolatiers.

Antwerp is one of our favourite European cities. Not that we have a huge experience of travelling in Europe between us, but we hope to do something about that now that we have a motorhome and I am soon to take early retirement.
