Where is the furthest you’ve taken your MoHo?

Excluding rentals our Compass has been to Hurley - 50min away.
Including rentals, we toured New Zealand’s North Island ???
Pick up & drop off near Auckland ?
And our virgin MH trip was an Alberta/BC tour with Vancouver as the PU/DO point.
All great hols..

Back in 2009 we met a Lad from Poland at the border of Scotland and England. He was on a bicycle having pedalled his way from Poland to London and then Lands End and was heading off towards John oGroats.

I have friends (he is Polish) who think 100 miles on a bike is a short day :) They are in their late 60s (maybe early 70s) and have cycled through every country in Europe including Russia. Middlesbrough to Poland and back would be a "standard" trip for them and nothing to get excited about!!!!!! They have bikes with trailers for their camping gear but say they rarely have to camp as people are so interested in them and their travels they get offered meals and accommodation most nights.

Drove to Croatia from Essex one month trip in September really enjoyed it, although had a fall on my arm two weeks into holiday very painful but drove home with the help from strong painkillers had X-ray at local hospital to be told don’t drive for 8weeks as you have broken your shoulder,! Should of got it checked in Croatia would of stayed longer as the weather was lovely ?
Presward 152. We've been thinking of somewhere different from our normal trip to northern Spain (creatures of habit I'm afraid), for our late spring 2020 trip (5 weeks from the end of March). I've seen and read quite a lot of positive things about Croatia on this forum. I take it you travelled via Dover, Dunkirk, Belgium, Germany. Austria

It was this couple was it? We spent a Christmas with them on a Sosta in Italy

No the couple we met were in a bog standard Bavaria motorhome and were on their way back to the factory in Germany to have a new roof fitted free I believe. Quite impressive travels

Nordkapp, Black Sea, somewhere south of the Atlas mountain in Marocco - not all on the same trip though. Don’t know which was furthest.

We did it this summer. Different route out: Chunnel, Geneva, Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia. Back via Austria, Germany, France.

Wow, some fantastic trips on this thread. Thanks for sharing. Loving the China trips. Don’t fancy doing it as part of an organised tour though...and £70 per person per day adds £20k to the cost if I take the Memsahib too.

We have done this exact route , a couple of problems are the Caspian Sea Baku to Turkmenbashi I am not sure there are dedicated ferries we had to blag our way onto a commercial ship (the accommodation was so bad I now think Brittany is 5 star) . I also think you must have a government appointed agent in Turkmenistan ,Georgia , Kyrgyzstan . The burning gas craters in Turkmenistan at night were fantastic , they caught fire in the 70,s and they cant put them out . There were no campsites after Goreme it’s either wild camping or cheap hotels/guest houses

Looking at your avatar, I'm guessing you did that with an Overland company ?
Dragoman ?

An Australian couple - three years in their self-build motorhome from Australia to Malaysia (by ship), driving to UK, Scandanavia, Morocco and then driving back to Malaysia to put their vehicle on ship back to Australia. Around 100,000 km trip. Very detailed account of costs etc here: http://epicycles.com/Truck Blog/asia stats/asia stats.htm and elsewhere on the site are other trip reports. Most interesting.
