Where is the furthest you’ve taken your MoHo?

Dot to dot most of these over the last 6 years. Not done northernmost Scotland yet or southern Spain, Would take years to see it all properly. Not sure I want to drive much further anyway, a month away is long enough for us.

Portugal.. And I claim the prize for the most uninteresting answer ??

I am even more uninteresting - Scotland is the furthest I have travelled in over 30 years of motorhoming!

Well, again not us, but at Mont St Michel in France last year we saw a group of Chinese motorhomers (about 10 vans) who had driven their vans all the way from China.

Interesting ....
Were they just normal MoHo's or were they Overland expedition type vehicles ?

Looked like ordinary motorhomes. Mainly what we would call smaller C class types, but the cabs were unfamiliar, looked like based on locally produced small commercial vehicles. They all had Chinese number plates.

Well if they can come to us, then I guess we can go to them !

Looks like this is the route between China and Europe.
It's around 13,000 km drive so about 4-5 month drive if you stop and look at stuff.
Start now and it's Shanghai for Easter !

And this is my 2021 plan... would do this with Seabridge - trip of a lifetime I reckon - about 145 days in total - 71 days out to Beijing on the red route and roughly the same back through Mongolia

It's a long way to go for only 3 days ?

71 days out and roughly same back? Am I missing something?
Not being too flippant, but driving to there and only staying 3 days before you set off home again. Or did I misunderstand ?

It will be quicker if you use all the gears. You might get 2 weeks in China⛩

Ah, yes you are right - it is a quick turn around. Have been to Beijing before and there are many stops on the way including camping at the Great Wall etc,

It is around 27000km trip

I win, I win, I win!!!
We picked-up our van from Essex and now we’re driving it in New Zealand.?
So, I read recently that NZ had banned the importation of used motorhomes and only brand new vehicles would be allowed in so I guess you must have just snuck in before that became the rule

We bought a new van in 2016 and put it on a ship in Southampton after driving around the UK for six months.
