In 2021 we had one trip abroad instead of our usual 2 or 3. Apart from that it's been holidays as normal not had any problems anywhere. Felt far safer abroad than in the UK where people appear to ignor advice.Although on here we seem to have quite a few going but I think in general, Brits are still aprensive about going, but from what we saw last week there is nothing that makes you see what we have been through for two years.
All the french are their cheerful selves and glad to speak to you in the street, everything is just the same as it was two years ago, get yourselves over there, you will wonder what all the fuss was about.

Just outside Venice now and walked 1.5 miles to a family run restaurant and the food was average and service terrible
7 countries so far so hopefully our next stops should be better.

I think some on here must be very fussy eaters, although we havnt been to many of the places mentioned we have been to Holland, Belgium,France, Germany, Austria, Spain , Italy and Portugal, and can't think of a meal that I would have complained about and we dine out once a day wherever we have been. Not had a decent meal since we have been away, other than the ones I’ve cooked.
