Hey at Folkestone I sneaked to the tootsie pegg section and bought me a new tooth brush, that was while sweetie was lined up waiting for the snails to move! I forgot to pick up my tooth brush after cleaning my pegs that very morning, now come on, I’m not going to admit I was forgetful am I! However she’s caught me out!
We are just having a shower and she says, when did you buy a new toothbrush! We are stood in the shower together, errrrr… Savin water we are green these days, I got an electric car..
Do I lie? Do I admit that I too was forgetful? Think, think.. too late….
Ok I’m a wimp, I said oh yeah I forgot my tooth brush, and while you were waiting I bought a new one…

If you think I’ll publish a priture of me and le pretty in zee shower, you are in cuckoo land, Jim would have a heart attack. Or laugh so hard he’d have an embolism.
Na, ice may have formed on the wall as I dropped a bombshell confession that I forgot my toothbrush, after 9 hours of taking the p out of her, for forgetting her sunglasses and her meds.. but to take a photo of us in the shower, I’d be made a fully fledged girl in 2 seconds flat.. whoosh goodbye man hello screaming girl..

So we made it to Roses, last night ate in Bourges, great hotel snd sublime restaurant. See photos..
It was the best food we have eaten in France for many years. In May we are going to do a tour of Portugal, Spain, France and eat at restaurants like this.
I saw a lot of mohos in Roses, I’m not surprised, it’s great here..

Yep lots of sunshine, wonderful..
leccy car mmmmm maybe they are not there yet for long distance travel. Once you hit 83 mph the leccy whooooshes away. So a 386 mile distance quickly drops to 240 miles, and that’s if you are 100% down to 10% fast charge to 80% and you get 198 miles, as you approach 11% fear sets in.
However there are thousands of charging units at all the Aires in France, Spain has longer distances and on many Aires in Spain they are lots and lots of charging units not commissioned.
You have to allow 4 charges per day, 4x18 mins, in real life it only takes 18 mins from 10/15% to 80% on Frances fast charging stations but in real life the leccy does not last that long.
I expected more.
Spain was a lot harder, the charging slower 50 mins from 20% to 80% and top speed 70 mph meant your electric does last a little longer. But forget 386 miles that’s dream land. I got 300mikes per full charge in Spain and from 100% to 10% I did get 325 miles once but it was 20c and on my last leg to the villa.
Hey I’m still learning so do take that into consideration.
There was one other thing my very first breakdown before we left, the alternator charging the 12 volt was not working correctly so a new alternator was fitted. First ever breakdown I’ve had.
So in Spain I’m using my Seat Ateca petrol. The leccy is fully charged less 2 miles drive to Villa.

Also it’s bull about free charging at the holiday inn hotels you pay the same everywhere you charge and it’s not cheap. Also I can’t get a home charger fitted at the villa for 5 months! Octopus not great.

Range angst? Yes it’s there all the time.. new tech is needed, for all battery you need 600 miles range 500miles easily and quick charging to 100%.
