going to avoid Scotland, France, Holland, Wales, and any other country which doesn't want us ,so will go to Italy, Spain, Austria, Portugal, to enjoy sun, sites, and lovely people, as I am 80 I have to be a bit choosy

Its only shengen you're limited to 90 days ....lots of country's not in shengen

We will be heading off up to Shetland to see the Otters, maybe visit Orkney and the Outer Hebrides before or after Shetland make it around 3 month trip, but I am conscious of the fact that every recently purchased Camper and Motorhome will be convoying around the NC500 and I don’t want any part of that thank you.

Our honeymoon was supposed to have taken place in Canada last September but now postponed until next September. We are hoping that will still go ahead and I'd like to spend the winter in warmer places looks like it's going to be just 90 days then.
Probably buy another Moto after selling ours last spring to do some more touring in the UK

Thanks for this thread, it’s made me cry a bit and smile a lot.
our plans include as many little trips as we can squash in once the sites reopen. On the home front we will be having a belated birthday party for my Mother in Law who was 90 on December 27th and had a very select party (me, my husband and the dog). Her 87 year old sister came too but had to stand outside while we chatted through the window . Just hope she hangs in there until things get better.
