We are thinking of buying a wheel clamp for our recently purchased motorhome, does anybody have a recommendation for a reasonably priced easy to fit lock? Or maybe a Steering Wheel lock would be effective?
Thanks.

We have one from Argos, used for a few months but a faff to put on, so have invested in a clutch claw (amongst other security devices)
You're more than welcome to have this one for free if you are close to or passing by Derbyshire at any point in the future

For my own convenience, I got a steering lock. It's visually obvious unlike a clutch claw. And unlike a wheel clamp, they're likely to set off the alarm before they can start tampering with it. Also, I'm not going to get soaked taking it off in the rain and I'm unlikely to forget that I've left it on and drive off.

I’ve always held back from ordering because it is never clear to me that it will fit onto my my alloy wheels.
It could be an expensive waste.
They fit by changing a wheel bolt, the one I got is for caravans, they do another one for vehicles but you would have to be sure the bolt provided is suitable.

Disklok https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/foru...ck-with-10-discount-code-for-funsters.234622/ or Clutch Claw https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/forum/threads/clutch-claw-with-10-motorhome-fun-discount-code.218289/ - both very good. Tried Patriot lock on seat base but not enough clearance on this motorhome's seat but used padlock to do similar on our previous motorhome. We have a wheel lock, swivel the seats and attached a disc lock on seat base, seats coupled together with a storage container lock and dog strap harnesses attached to both doors onto seatbelt fixings!!
As Elsie2008 says.. more is more 👍🏼

I use the Patriot lock mentioned above. I would consider a diskloc but wouldn’t have a wheel lock. Just my opinion but dealing with a bit of mucky metal and having to store it doesn’t appeal!

I keep all our physical in a giant Peli case. The case is also useful as a "hop up " when loading the push bikes on the seemingly ever height increase of the bike rack. It's also useful as a deadweight on the awning when the breeze gets up.

We have a wheel lock, steering wheel lock and I’ve fitted a patriot motorcycle lock to stop the drivers seat from being swivelled around to the driving position. It’s really all about slowing down the thief so that they might be deterred. If they really want the van they will get it but it will take a long time.

Disklok for the steering wheel. It covers the whole wheel and prevents the thief from just cutting the wheel to remove a bar type lock. Then I use an ATE pedal lock

I also have a spare clutch claw for sale if anyone needs one?
Amazon product ASIN B074DW9PK7
Mine is the older version, but perfect working order
