What is the best bit about motorhoming for you?

Going to places we haven’t been to before. Previously had a caravan but found it hard work setting up/packing everything away and couldn’t store at our house as we can with the motorhome. Retiring next year and looking forward to touring Europe at our own pace. The list is endless.

After many years under canvas, it’s great to be in the MH sat in my pants with a hot drink listening to the radio or watching TV while it’s lashing down with rain outside. And knowing that when you do get dressed, after washing in hot water, you will be putting in warm and not damp clothes. Aaahhhhh ?

All of the above, absolutely. Occasionally, though, it has been a godsend in unexpected ways. When the fridge packed up in the house there is a spare one on the drive. When I found out one evening we needed to be at a location in the middle of the country at 6.00 a.m. (it was a 4 hour drive away!) I thought, "I'll take the motorhome, park overnight in a lay by, and wake in the morning in time to drive down the road and arrive on time. Just recently our house had a plumbing problem which left us 'sans toilette' for a couple of days. Goodness knows what we'd have done without the van! Such things are unexpected advantages. ?
