What fuel shortage

I think I'll stick with the university educated people for my GP dentist accountant solicitor etc thanks rather than someone who has no qualifications other they common sense. I think most wars are caused by religion and tribalism and it seems like the tribalism bit judging by football thugs racists etc seems linked to lower intelligence if anything.
That eugenics group was never the same after Annie Lennox left ...

Your totally right that you need the highly educated, specialist to give the best service in all fields. BUT to assume a degree is the best qualification to be the leader of this Country is totally wrong.
Particularly the Oxbridge PPE degree that most of the Govt and many of the "opposition" seem to have - along with Eton, if anything was ever so obviously unfit for purpose, it's that degree - just look at who you end up with . . . .

Another big car driver, people who drive little cars also go to work. They don’t all drive big vans
The level could be reduced if felt needed - I quoted £30 as other people have but it could be lowered. However my smart car cost me about £28 to fill completely and with the recent price increase it would be over £30

I wouldn't assume having a degree is necessary neither would I assume it's necessary not to have one. If you said that there ought to be a requirement to have been in paid employment for a certain length of time before entering parliament I might also agree. Strange isn't it everyone seemed to want our own politicians now they're saying they are rubbish!

Gotta say I have been a bit smug about pressing the 'EV' button on my new car and ignoring the queues. Still got the same tank full I bought six days ago.
Us diseasel drivers will get revenge when there are no more energy companies left and a £30 top up charge won't quite get you to the nearest pub :ROFLMAO: :giggler:.

A degree is where you start to learn your career not a mark of when you've finished learning it. All MPs should have one as proof that they have the potential to learn broad and complex issues.

I am sure I read somewhere that Diane Abbott has a degree, so based on that evidence it would appear you are correct.:LOL:

And Churchill didn't have a degree, guess that proves your argument as well !

Like the fact that Dover is a port, which came as something of a surprise to one Minister ...

Caught the Portsmouth to Bilbao ferry. No q in Bilbao and priced at 1.25 euro. Plenty of spaces on the boat. For those living near Folkestone. Use your Tesco points bio over to France and fill up😂
For those who are travelling 'over the water' be it Spain or France, could I give a heads up to the website 'komparing.com'

I appreciate that it's in a foreign language but it's very intuitive.

It gives the price of fuel in any given area and identifies the lowest priced fuel stations.

One thing I've discovered from playing with the site is that if one is to avoid paying more than is necessary when approaching a border or place where there will be a price hike ie. Spain to France or Portugal, it may be worth your while not waiting until the last km. before filling up.

A PPE + career in politics should be disqualification for ministerial office.
That would focus the mind!!

Cheers James
