What do you put down your plug holes

Did it always run away much quicker?
I've been in many Van's where the sinks drain slowly because of bad pipe routing
No idea....only just got the van...

HANG ON !! How come they sell them in plastic bottles then ??:doh::rofl:

Poundland / home bargains sell a reasonable priced drain unblocked.
The plastic bottles do not contain ABS, plumbing fittings and shower trays do. I have said this many times before but they will go brittle and crack, believe me. I spent many years manufacturing shower trays and I have seen it happen a thousand times.

A lot of Van's have very little fall, big restrictions on the pipework and enter the waste tank near the bottom so the drain time can seem like ages compared to household stuff

Got slightly blocked plug holes, water runs away but slowly...I cleaned the tanks with that whatever it was thoroughly but didn’t make any difference. What can I put down plug holes...at home I used to use One Shot until they stopped selling it to the public. I assume I shouldn’t put that down. Tried boiling water. Don’t want to destroy my tubes. Preferably something from a Lidl or other supermarket.
We use soda crystals in hot water. Cheap and effective. From Wilco £1;75.

Shouldn’t put anything small than your elbow in your ear hole.

Oh sorry you said ‘Plug hole’ 😀😀😀

Being new to this and a bit of a stickler for doing the 'right thing'. I bought some Thetford stuff and poured it down only this week. I will assess it's efficacy in due course.

Travelling in hot weather this trip, we found the gray tank smell overpowering when draining, and had to keep the plugs in when driving.

Tried the same bio pods we now use in the toilet but they didn’t really do it. Wandering around Lidl I saw some Vanish Oxi clean powder.

I Now drain the gray tank, fill the kitchen sink full and add a scoop of Oxi clean, dissolve it and then empty to the tank. We leave it in the tank during driving and then just use the tank as normal.

Gray waste has no smell now when draining and no smells from the plug holes when travelling!

Assuming Oxi is ok for the plastic pipe work and tank?
