What do you keep in your microwave?

Haven’t got one in our van!
One for sale here. £25 it's yours.

Oooooh........same as ours.

Use it for storing my drugs and gun.
You never know what can occur on a Funster Rally!
And when we do use it , it's only for drying socks.

This thread has pissed me off, my microwave at home found it and decided to die. I fitted a new magnetron about 10 years ago so looks like I'll have to shell out a couple of hundred quid for something I hardly use. I do the cooking but 'er indoors won't let me buy a cheap one.

Thanks for to offer, just ordered a posh one the boss liked.
I've got to spend an extra 100 quid on a microwave because she liked it but she won't let me spend 4K on a new e-bike, life's not fair. :giggle:

Sorry, can’t see the point of a Microwave in a MoHo, one has plenty of time to create meals when not working or on holiday!

Nothing.. it was the first thing to be taken out .. skipped it..

It's now a useful cupboard under the sink for storing things ..

It was just dead weight.. no use to man nor beast.. and what bright spark fits a microwave under a sink at almost floor level.. and beside the shower door :xdoh:

Our kettle lives/travels in ours.

Since we rarely have EHU and our inverter/battery is not big enough to run the microwave, it rarely gets used. I’d rather remove it and convert to a shelf/cupboard tbh, but my OH isn’t yet convinced 😀

We have not got a microwave. German made van made to German spec.
Ditto. Our previous UK spec Frankia had one which was mostly used as a store for the kettle
Our current van is a German spec Carthago

Or better still, go to Wetherspoons!
(Other cheap "pile it high" eating establishments are available but the clientèle is questionable).

We don’t ‘do’ Weatherspoons!
Dogs are not allowed on/in any part of Weatherspoons, not even in the garden and as we wouldn’t leave our mutt in a too hot or too cold vehicle that Pub is not an option!

We store our coffees and teas containers in there. But my project for the winter is to remove the damn thing, and put in a shelf or drawer. Never used it for cooking.

We use it as a bread eggs and veg store. Or pack of individual tonic water fits very well too.
Any other ideas?
Took it out - saving 14 Kg. Put on a magnetic board as a door and it’s an enormous storage space (easily 14Kg) of useful stuff (with notes on the front 😆)

Wouldn't be without it for veg (saves steaming up the van when cooking). When travelling it holds a couple of bowls and two microwave bowls. Fit in well and don't need to cushion them with anything.
