What do you keep in your microwave?

We use it as a bread eggs and veg store. Or pack of individual tonic water fits very well too.

We keep the turntable upside down on a piece of non slip matting and then set it when we arrive as it get used regularly if it was a store cupboard we would have to empty it every time to use it

Use mine every day when in the van. Even sometimes if I CBA getting the kettle out if I want only half a brew I'll chuck half a cup of water in it.

Ours was used as a bread and egg bin, but because we very rarely used hookup I removed our microwave and turned it into a cupboard and fitted a door.
Don't miss the microwave and love the extra space.

My first van with a microwave, what a revelation, as a mainly solo traveller opened up a number of new options, so only thing I keep inside is it clean. Still doesn't beat a nice local restaurant within walking distance though

Exactly the same, home one only used for warming milk. When away I get my coffee when out.

New van not even bothering with an oven. The Remoska can heat pies and cook jacket potatoes.

I find the microwave very useful, however, as it only works on hook up (in my van) I could live without it, an oven though, no way would I want a van without one, particularly during the long winter nights when away and no restaurant in sight. I do appreciate we all roll along differently and I have never tried a Remoska so I'm sure I could easily be persuaded

It's a waste of space unless on the rarity of EHU, when I might occasionally zap some veg rather than boil in a pan. In 4 years it may have been used 10 times? Also potentially dangerous location above head when lifting out that hot food.

Actually thought about removing it as we’ve never used it. Rarely on hook up and as we don’t have one at home, we don’t even think about using it.

Whatever the chef is serving for dinner. We use ours with the inverter if off-grid, which is quite often. Handy bit of kit. Being German, mine didn't have one so I removed a drawer to fit it.
