Better than 24+ hrs on any ship ,but worse than 90 minutes

No ships are great. Wouldn't even get me on a 'posh' cruise. It's a necessity. I enjoy a bit of sea and fresh air wandering around (better than sitting on a train in a tunnel). Tablet loaded with a film or music/read a book. - Probably nicer than driving that first 100 plus miles down through France.

How do you get the 20% discount? Do you have to ring up? Can't see it online.

Yes you can only get it by ringing up, but worth it.

If heading South on the A63 E70 you can save a few euros and not adding much time by exiting at La Muret ex18 and taking the road that runs parallel with the left side of the peage getting on again at Liposthey then leave at Castets ex12 taking the road parallel to the right of the peage getting back on at Magescq. This gets you past two toll booths you can wave at the people handing over their euros as you drive past Works in reverse if heading north.
