What birds do you get in your garden

Had a blackcap eating the sunflower hearts today. That's a first as was seeing a peacock wandering around next door's garden! If it hops onto the feeder I'll let you know. :)

A Dipper seems to have made the river Churn (by the Waterloo car park in Ciren) part of its territory (crappy photo, couldn’t get any nearer!😉)

We get a variety of birds in our garden, Blackcap returns each winter and this year we have both male and female. Lucky for us we saw a great spotted woodpecker on one of our feeders yesterday, rare sight for us.

Don't forget the big garden bird watch this weekend - 24-26 January.

We have always had a lot of birds with us being on the edge of a wood but since we started feeding sunflower hearts we have even more.

I had a woodcock in my garden , I believe they are on the red (endangered) list , it was at night in the snow , I thought it was a rabbit until it moved , then I realised what it was , unfortunately no picture so a stolen one from the internet
