What are you up to this weekend?

On Friday morning I'm off early for several days in the Staffordshire and Warwickshire region. The main purpose is to attend a RYA Helmsmans Course so that if we purchase a narrow boat I will be safe to be let loose on the canals. I am also visiting several marinas to view boats.
Unfortunately Di cannot come with me as Ruby (on the left in my avatar) has to have an operation on Friday.

Off to the royal oak in old malton for the beer festival and folk music, staying in the van for two nights, weather looks crap.

We were all booked in for Rowntree Park but our chippy is way ahead of schedule transforming our vestibule into New England Shaker heaven so we have, very reluctantly, cancelled and I've now got a weekend of painting instead !
On the plus side the weather countrywide looks lousy !

Jane is still not fully fit after her recent operation, so I will be fitting customer’s blinds and curtains that have been accumulating over the weeks.

BanHam will think we've abandond it.

Quick jaunt to Germany, midnight boat out tonight, £29 hotel in Dunkirk, then a nice drive up to Gutersloh, 2 days riding round in circles, then leave at 4pm to get back for 10pm boat, home at 3am and up for work at 7... had new MH 3 weeks and it hasn't been off the drive yet .

We were hoping to go to the East Kent DA meet at Womenswold this weekend but as it's on a field and we have had quite a bit of rain this week with more forecast we're not going to bother. Therefore more wood chip stripping But we will also be getting the MH ready for our trip to France

It's taken us a month to get out of Spain but we made it into France on Friday. Should be in Germany next weekend for a few weeks. Anyone know where England is??? We need to be in Thetford for JAWS Bash but we have to find England first!
