What are you up to this weekend?

Long weekend in La Tourballe , SE of Vannes nice site on the coast , walk into town for a moules frite and some muscadet . Two mins to the beach weather permitting a spot of fishing. Wherever you are enjoy folks.

I had the best slow cooked shoulder of lamb in Vannes that I have ever tasted a few years back. Can't recall the name of the restaurant because I drank too much red wine with it:)

We are off to dorset cc rally at Bagwell Farm tomorrow. Not sure about taking bikes as weather not going to be so good over Easter. Is it a good place to cycle. Is it near anywhere that we can get to on bikes?

I'm going to a coffee morning on Saturday in aid of Epilepsy charities - I have 2 grandchildren with epilepsy. If you are in the area it is at Devizes Fire Station from 10-00 am until 1-00 pm (OK I know 1-00 pm isn't morning). Lots of raffle prizes and you could even have your face painted. There will be an Easter colouring completion and you can have a look around the fire engines, provided they are not out on a shout of course.

Hope you raise plenty of dosh Dave, I wouldn't mind a look round a fire engine myself, well Mrs B tells me I'm a big kid anyway. :D

Cheers for that. If you are ever this way let me know and I might be able to persuade my son to show you round a fire appliance (don't think they call them fire ENGINES!). He is a retained fire fighter and driver and his day job is servicing fire hydrants.
