What are you up to this weekend?

Sail out from Hull on Sunday then who know's. We'll be turning right off the Zeebrugge port and just keep travelling to some sun and freedom. Had 12 weeks earlier in the year and back for more. Given up with the UK apart from Scotland. Fed up with all the health and safety crap along with jobsworth wardens and booking so far away we could be dead.
Will be looking out for Funstera en route.
Try turning towards Poland - it's lovely and very very cheap (especially the diesel)!

Just arrived at Green Pig Farm CL, between St. Ives and Penzance, for a week.

Uninterrupted views over Mounts Bay and St. Michaels Mount.

Brilliant!

Stef.

Well, I arrived on Tuesday lunchtime in brilliant sunshine and I haven't seen St Michaels Mount since then!
The mist and rain have been wall-to-wall ever since, and I feel so sorry for the others on the CL, most of them from Yorkshire, who are here for their annual holiday.
I managed to get out today for the first time in 3 days - to empty the toilet!
Some of you reckon you're full-timers but what I'm doing is proper full-timing. In motorhome 24/7, for 3 days. And the forecast suggests that I may be here for several more days.
Stef.

Didn't make Selfridges Chritmas department today rescheduled for next week had a nice day in the garden..:)

Sorting through pictures of the Scotland trip, reviewing britstops that we stayed at, psyching myself up to actually start writing a blog about our adventures!!

the first day of the two little foster kids. or the two little horrors. we are so kna----ed. just 14 more days of this. I hope we survive. going to have a early night.

empty the grey and top up the fresh.
played snooker with bro in law

Fitted a rear view cam to a tool sales van this am then serviced son's Audi S3 which unfortunately failed its MOT on emissions, a broken road spring and a ARB drop link so those are to be fixed next week. Spent the rest of today trying to get the race car running properly (got a massive misfire/flat spot at 4K rpm, right when it should be building max torque). Having a mare of a year with motors, out of 7 vehicles we own the only one that hasn't given trouble this year is the Dragon which sits looking miserable in the corner of the workshop and hasn't been touched for 3 years.

Work Ducato clutch failed a few months ago, Iveco Daily camper refused to run in March and needed an injector pump and injector overhaul, bought a Mazda Tribute 4X4 in January with no cylinder head, fitted a ST 170 head and cams and finally got it running this week but the ECU doesn't like the cam signal pattern, bought a MK2 MX5 last month for the wife but it was a non runner, overhauled the donkey but it now looks like an immobiliser fault has occurred as well, wife's Focus has an intermittent engine management fault but I've never got the scanner with me when it plays up and then of course the race MX5 has this bloody misfire/flatspot!

Why did I ever want to be a mechanic? Answers on the back of a used £50 note please :)

Good news is tomorrow is a genuine, gold plated day off and next weekend we're racing.....YAY........

Nothing doing here yesterday, chores all done so toddled off to a little CS just down the road a bit - continuing my project to review the local sites

Just back from a two night stay at a lovely campsite near St. Just in West Cornwall (about half an hours drive form our home).

Spent the weekend at Stratford Upon Avon, stayed on the Racecourse site, car booty on Saturday morning just outside the side then a nice walk along the river into town for the afternoon.

Off to Shrewsbury this weekend hope the weather improves for the Bank Holiday!

Going to Burnham on Crouch to be "trolley dolly" at the dinghy sailing meet. Not surprisingly, Mrs Deluxe is staying at home. Partying, food and alcohol may feature heavily........

Minehead this weekend and a overnight stay at Brean Sands!! (Warren Farm)

A bit of a Chav fest but love the long beach which is dog friendly.

Going to Bath Marina and Caravan Park end of the week.
Anyone been there, any tips ? Seems walk to centre of Bath takes 25 mins along the river.

Yes, the walk is about 25 minutes. Out side the site and turn left, across the road is a park and ride which runs regularly into Bath and there is also a good pub here. Both handy if it's raining!! I love going to Bath and always treat myself to a couple of hours in the Spa. Does get busy of a weekend but you can pre book your tickets if you want to avoid the queue.

Thanks Bridget. The park and ride will be very handy for this week's weather forecast.

Well, let's hope the forecast is wrong as Bath is a lovely city for walking around. No matter the weather, I'm sure you'll enjoy it :)

Off to Dovefest in Doveridge and staying on a CL site within walking distance. Quick turn around though once back as off to Germany on the 2nd Sept. Excited!:roflmto:

Motorhome having MOT Friday then we will be getting it ready for trip down to Devon following weekend for 11 odd days .
