What are you up to this weekend?

Ralph's working on "pug" for a change....not!
I'm going to scotch guard the upholstery on Saturday if the weathers fine, I'm working on Sunday. Looking forward to next weekend though , it's Misterton:clap2::party2::cheers: Can't wait.

Hi.
Being as you asked. Trying to locate a FULL !! Sceptic tank. Depending on who you speak to,it could be anywhere on the property. There is NO manhole cover,it is supposed to go through varying stages and come out as clean water..... NO,it is NOT coming out,Backing up Yes!.
Have destroyed the steps at the side of the property, and am halfway across the orchard, alarm set foe 05.00 hrs, then armed with my trusty pick and shovel will continue to follow the Pipes from the house, hopefully finding the tank.. If it is small,i shall call in the big boys with a 360,hoy it out and put in a LARGE one with emptying point,if it IS a big one,i will offer up the pipeliners prayer."Forgive them Lord, for they know not what they do",attack it with an angle grinder and fit an Access Point.
If you are in the Santa Comba Dao area of Portugal tomorrow morning and see a wall of Brown sludge coming towards you.... DRIVE,as if your life depends on it........ You have been warned!!

We're spending our first weekend away in our MH. We did take it to Wales for a few days when we first bought it but it was more of a test to make sure everything worked before taking to home from Telford.

We're staying near Bosham which is a lovely village on the south coast only about an hours drive from home. When the tide comes in it covers some of the waterfront roads - so always best to check tide times!

Weather not great but we're away - brilliant!

We are spending five days at Waterrow Touring Park in Sumerset.

And the weather is beautiful .
:)

All three vehicles washed, will take the motorhome for a run tomorrow as my back is killing me (y)

Had a wee trip to Hawick - not too far, but a change of scenery...food at The Horse and Hound at Bonchester Bridge was fab!

This afternoon we are driving to Liverpool in the MH for my nephew's wedding tomorrow (Jeremy Kyle would be proud of the circumstances surrounding this wedding!). It will be the first family get together since my dad's funeral over 4 years ago - it's going to be loud that's for certain.

San Sebastián for two nights ( our first ever stay on an Aire) gastro tour on Saturday and then off to Bilbao !

This weekend I will be at home :-( van in for some work to be done :-( :-( John at Dent folk festival with his mate in his VW California. Peace quiet and a chance to sort out some of the 'essentials' we have languishing about the house and garage :-)

Going to Misterton :clap2::party2::drink:
We can't wait . Counting down the hours........
It will be so nice to get away for a change. Nice for Ralph to have a weekend off working on Pug too.
We're still not finished, but we're usable and it's only the kitchen doors and carpeting inside. And all the underslung tanks, gas water etc outside to do.

cant wait to see this van. and of course to meet the two of you.
Haha, I'm guessing we may be a bit busy showing people Pug ! It will be nice to meet you too.
It's great so many people are interested seeing Ralph's handy work. He's just come home from work ( early, from building dry stone walls over Keighley way) to fit the side Remis blinds in the cab.
He may put some pictures on his thread , if he doesn't get too carried away on other things and stays out there too late.

We are going to Misterton too! So excited! My lovely boss has even volunteered to teach my Year 8 class last lesson so I can escape early! All being well we should be there by 5.30, so in good time to get started with the merriment! :party2:

Hi. Scotzsue.
This is a "Sexist" Post and should be deleted !!! What a man has aquired/.gathered/horded in HIS! garage is off limits to his wife/partner,etc. This is an unwritten law, that pre-dates the 10 commandments.
Essentials are just that,it's a man thing, women wanted,"Equal status?",well they have got it. I don't go in the first wifes handbag, and she does NOT go in the garage unattended.
Excuse the spelling, but the English teacher could have been a lady? LOL!!

Unfortunately what and where he puts stuff in OUR garage stops me from getting at my stuff in the garage. And by that I mean tools, drills, saws, screwdrivers and not freezer or other kitchen equipment which is in the kitchen where it belongs. :-)
Do the dogs still bark all night in Portugal?
