Watching the rain so far.
My 4 (in Sept) year old grandson is fasinated with all this rain. Only 4 year old could ask, "where does it come from".

Been swimming for the first time in donkies years had a lovely time

Just found out that The U Boat Story museum ( Birkenhead) is closed for refurb , bugger !

Nothing special maybe a day out locally because we are at Flying Proms next weekend. I have ordered materials to finish a workshop project so I might have some time out there.

in between showers i will attempt to fit the final 200w solar after moving the entry gland (stupid spot currently) and re routing the cables to new electric cabinet .

I've been ordered to BBQ tonight to feed our two monsters (and us of course).......................gonna be here all night.
HRH just came back with loads a meat, rib eye, ribs, posh sausages, chichen + + +.
Jacket potatoes have to be burnt on the outside, soft and fluffy inside................i can do that.

I am off up to the Smoke to meet a couple of ex-colleagues for a coffee at some Islington coffee house before a short walk to the Emirates for the first EPL match of the season. Weather forecast for dry and sunny so should be a good ride upon the V-Strom.

Off to Glastonbury!!

……and yes I know I’m too late for the festival!! 😉😉

Off to Old Oaks… fishing for OH and R&R for me!

Another night here due to the M5 crash earlier today, all the roads jammed up so thought it best not to bother 😎
Lovely folk here too.
Ash, Nick and the guys in Vanbitz fitted security today and I worked from their side office. Defo worth the visit 👍

We had to cancel the planned trip to Bournemouth yesterday, I needed some antibiotics for an infected cyst and by the time I had managed to get an appointment with a doctor then got the tablets from the chemist, it was too late to go. We're having a day out walking by the river/canal from Newbury instead of the walk along the coast we had planned.

Survived another day with the grandkids. One's a terrorist the other one's a gangster.
One more sleep (after tonight) and they are going back to Dubai.
I am sure on tuesday morning i think i will have gone deaf. How can a 4 year old and a 10 month old make so much bloody noise.

Had a nice ride out across Romney Marsh. Managed not to kill or maim any cyclists riding 4 abreast on single track roads.

Breakfast at Jo's Cafe at Brookland. Watched a guy testing his model racing car on the track there. Sounded like a petrol strimmer .. then headed home past St Thomas a Becket Church.

A facinating little church .. did you collect the key a have a look around?

Had a bad day yesterday, first the sliding door fell off the van, lucky I found one of the screws and nut and my neighbour, who is a window installer, had a selection of screws with just the correct countersunk screw so I managed to fix it back. Then an elderly neighbour collapsed and after a long wait was taken to hospital, I managed to find someone to look after her dog for the night. I doubt my neighbour will be coming home, she can't move her legs, so I'm not sure what is going to happen to the dog long term, we have two dogs so can't have it ourselves.
