Come on the Red roseDriving up to Bridlington, where we’ll leave the van and be transported to Morecambe, ready for our cycling attempt on the Way of the Roses.
Update: going to Fat Cat Moto Parc in Doncaster to watch my son's friend racing his 65CC moto cross bike. He has been selected to ride for team GB in Finland in August.I may be taking our 11 year old son to Doncaster Fat Cats Moto Cross to watch his best friend compete. Will go tomorrow morning if we do.
Hope you don’t feel to bad from covid. I’ve felt bad at times but mainly at night and the new symptoms of newer strain is night sweats. My mrs isn’t feeling great but still testing negative. We’re both just feeling knackered. All the bestWe should have been enjoying our last days of our latest trip but after feeling crap last night and coughing a lot we came home.
First thing to do on arrival at home management got out the test kits. I have tested positive but she is clear. Thats the weekend on hold for now.
When we were at Fountains Abbey a family were blocking the exit from the cash desks. I politely asked if we could come past and a man turn towards me and sneezed on me and then sneezed on the rest of the group. Some people shouldn’t be let out of whence they crawled from.
Management at the time pushed me passed them knowing I would do something silly like punch him. It might not have been him but it proves some people havnt taken any notice of what’s been happening around the world or don’t care.
As promised, passed the arctic circle. Officially in the cold place, but it's warmer today than all of last week. The globe is the line. N66°33'.View attachment 638883
Remembered. This was last night just below Arctic circle. 150 k (£13) no showers, electricity or toilets but full Moho facilities. Not bad price, considering Norway is so expensive. Upto now only food is expensive.
Haven't done it in a moho but on a cruise. The snow line gets lower all the time you are moving north. Quite close to sea level at North Cape and right down to sea level in Svalbard. As promised, passed the arctic circle. Officially in the cold place, but it's warmer today than all of last week. The globe is the line. N66°33'.

Two winners today ...what a fantastic day!Off to Chester races today...my nephew Harry has 5 rides. He's currently battling with Benoit de la Sayette for the top of the Apprentice Jockey Championship. They keep swapping for top of the table!
We're taking a picnic and parking in the middle today..
Then tomorrow off to Nottingham to hopefully pick up a 'new to me' Mini Countryman Cooper SD All 4.
